Today is beautiful! Flowers are blooming, people are walking to Spy Pond, birds are singing. It feels like summer and it is a gift. I am enough of a New Englander to never take these days for granted. I take a walk or sit outside, I breathe deeply of the clear air, because tomorrow it may be too hot or too cold.
Last week Alan and I celebrated our 22nd wedding anniversary. I don’t take that for granted. We have had a full 22 years, children, illness, job loss, moving, loss of parents and more delights than we can count. I am grateful for every year that we have.
We are coming up on a year of ministry together at Calvary. I don’t take that for granted. I am always grateful for the richness of this community, for your love and faithfulness in this ministry we are called to share with God’s grace.
All of life is a gift. I hope you breathe deeply of life and love.
