About our Sunday School Classes – Available for All Ages
Calvary Church is fortunate to have a staff of talented men and women who teach Sunday School with love and care to help others know and love God. Classes meet from 9:30 to 10:20 every Sunday from September through June. Visitors are always welcome!
As a general guideline, we ask that one parent of children under the age of 8 remain in the building during Sunday School time. Children in grade five and below will be dismissed to their families for worship at the end of class.
Toddlers and Preschool - Children ages four and under meet in the Edith Burke Room. Parents are welcome to stay until children are comfortable on their own in the classroom. To get to the Edith Burke Room, come in the Linwood Street door and the room is the first door on your left.
PreK-Lower Elementary – Children who are five years old and in PreK and children in grades K-2 meet in the Lower Elementary Room. To get to the classroom, come in the Linwood Street door, go straight through the double doors, and the room is the second door on your left.
3-5 – Children in grades 3 through 5 meet in the Milne Room (or Junior Church Room). To get to the room, come in the Linwood Street door, go straight through the double doors, and the room is the second door on your right.
If there will be no parent in the building during Sunday School time, please be sure that your contact information and cell phone number are listed on the sheet beside the door on the first day.
Youth – Both middle school and high school youth meet together with leaders on the stage in the Fellowship Hall. A number of different experiences are planned for the youth to explore their faith and connection with worship and current issues. The students help choose the topics of study. To get to the Fellowship Hall, come in the Linwood Street door, go to your right toward the elevator, and take the elevator or the stairs to the second floor.
Adults – Adults of all ages meet in the Parlor. Class topics are chosen by the group. To get to the Parlor, come in the Linwood Street door, go straight through the double doors, and the Parlor is straight ahead at the end of the hall.
