Calvary Church has opportunities for all ages to learn, grow, explore and connect with others as we learn about God’s love through Jesus. We are fortunate to have volunteers who teach Sunday School with love and care to help others know and love God. Visitors are always welcome!
As a general guideline, we ask that one parent of children under the age of 8 remain in the building during Sunday School time. Parents of children ages 8 and above should leave their contact information with teachers if they will be leaving the building.
During the pandemic, the tween and youth Sunday School will be hosted on the lawn at 9:30 AM. Elementary Sunday School has been combined with Jr. Church and will meet outside after the Children’s Message.
Toddlers and Preschool – Children ages four and under meet in Classroom 3. Parents are welcome to stay until children are comfortable on their own in the classroom. To get to the Nursery, come in the Linwood Street door and the room is the first door on your left.
Grades K-4 – Children meet in Classroom 1. To get to the room, come in the Linwood Street door, go straight through the double doors, and the room is the first door on your right.
Grades 5-8 – Tweens meet in Classroom 2. To get to the room, come in the Linwood Street door, go straight through the double doors, and the room is the second door on your left. Tweens in grades 6-8 can choose whether to attend the Grades 5-8/Tween class or the Grades 6-12/Youth class.
Grades 6-12 – Youth meet with leaders in the Youth Room in the basement under the sanctuary. A number of different experiences guide the youth to explore their faith and connection with worship and current issues. The students help choose the topics of study. To get to the Youth Room, come in the terrace door, turn right, take the stairs to the basement, and turn right. The room is down a short flight of stairs and to the left.
Adults – Adults of all ages meet in the Parlor on the first floor.
